I think all of us look back on our past with some measure of regret. Perhaps we’ve wasted time. Perhaps we wasted words. Thankfully, there’s time to make changes.

Cardinal Müller has issued a “Manifesto of Faith” as a corrective against doctrinal confusion, moral relativism, indifference toward Jesus Christ and the Church he founded, and dissent from the Church’s perennial teaching on faith and morals.
Writing about St. Dominic, St. John Bosco tells us that whenever he talked about the day of his First Communion, he did so with great joy, saying, “That was the happiest and most wonderful day of my life.” Perhaps St. Dominic, who died at the tender age of fourteen, can teach us how to fall in love with the Eucharist as well.
Are you a wise person? What is wisdom? Understood through the light of faith, it’s not comprised of intellectual knowledge, shrewd social maneuvering skills or an acquired ability to attain worldly success and recognition. No, it’s about much more than those things.
The call of Truth is unceasing and unquenchable. It cannot be permanently silenced but only suppressed briefly. Nevertheless, it is often feared. Stepping into the light of truth always requires change.
