October 9, 2017 by Deacon Frederick Bartels Leave a Comment

Caitlyn Jenner and gender dysphoria and transgender surgery

Gender reassignment surgery is based on the false premiss that a change to the body equates to a psychological remedy. However, human sexuality and gender identity cannot be altered by the scalpel. Jesus' Sermon on the Mount

One reason Jesus speaks in parables is because, for people of faith, they reveal the mysteries of God, conveying spiritual, supernatural, and moral meaning; for those lacking faith, parables seem to be little more than children’s stories based on experience of the natural world.

Pope St. John Paul II:

Jesus Christ meets the man of every age, including our own, with the same words: “You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” These words contain both a fundamental requirement and a warning: the requirement of an honest relationship with regard to truth as a condition for authentic freedom, and the warning to avoid every kind of illusory freedom, every superficial unilateral freedom, every freedom that fails to enter into the whole truth about man and the world.  (Redemptor Hominis No. 12)
