The Mystery of the Church

June 29, 2018 by Patrick Tchakounte 2 Comments

The Holy Trinity and the Saints in Glory

Jesus Christ founded a Church that inherited His doctrine, His law, His grace, and His Love: the Holy Spirit. The mystery of the Church was the culmination of Salvation history, of that mysterious Love of a lover that God had manifested towards humanity and His Chosen People.

Morality and Catholic Voting in America

The Compendium Of The Social Doctrine Of The Church explains that “Jesus’ followers are called to live like him and, after his Passover of death and resurrection, to live also in him and by him, thanks to the superabundant gift of the Holy Spirit, the Consoler, who internalizes Christ’s own style of life in human hearts” (29).

Christian Prayer Unites Man to God

The Resurrection of Christ

Pope St. John Paul II:

Jesus Christ meets the man of every age, including our own, with the same words: “You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” These words contain both a fundamental requirement and a warning: the requirement of an honest relationship with regard to truth as a condition for authentic freedom, and the warning to avoid every kind of illusory freedom, every superficial unilateral freedom, every freedom that fails to enter into the whole truth about man and the world.  (Redemptor Hominis No. 12)
